Two ways to add it
The Nilyo app in ChatGPT is the short path: add it, sign in, done. If you would rather connect the server yourself, enable developer mode in settings and add a connector with the URL https://nilyo.com/mcp, choosing OAuth. ChatGPT registers itself and opens a browser once. There is no API key to generate and nothing stored in the client.
The card is how ChatGPT asks you for something
When an account is not connected, expired, or when several could match, Nilyo answers with a card inside the conversation carrying the link or the choice. It appears only on steps that need you — never on top of an ordinary result — so you are not clicking through a widget every time you ask a question.
What it refuses to do
Ambiguity blocks writes: two people matching a name means nothing is sent and you are asked which. An identifier that has gone stale returns a corrective error naming the tool to call again rather than a guess. And a send that fails ambiguously is never retried — the conversation is read back instead, because a duplicate message is not a recoverable mistake.

Scheduled tasks
A ChatGPT task can run the same prompt every morning: yesterday’s conversations summarized, invitations waiting for an answer, meetings with a line on each guest. The pacing rules are the same as in a live chat, so a scheduled prompt cannot quietly consume the day’s budget in one pass.
One connection, not one per tool
The accounts belong to your Nilyo account rather than to ChatGPT. Connect LinkedIn today here and it is already available in Claude, in Cursor, in an n8n workflow tomorrow, with the same identifiers and no second authorization.
Common questions
Can ChatGPT access LinkedIn, WhatsApp or my email?
Not by itself. With Nilyo connected it gets tools for the accounts you authorize, and acts as you on them — reading, drafting and, when you ask, sending.
Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan?
You need a plan that allows apps or connectors, which is where the tools appear. The accounts themselves need nothing special.
Will it act without asking?
Reading never sends. Writes are actions it has to choose and you request, and ambiguous ones are refused rather than guessed.
What happens when an account disconnects?
You get an explicit error naming the account, with a card carrying the reconnection link — not an empty result that looks like you have no messages.
How LinkedIn works with Nilyo
Connection. Secure hosted sign-in (your LinkedIn credentials go to LinkedIn, never to the agent). Sales Navigator and Recruiter are detected automatically when your account has them.
What your agent can do. People and company search, profile lookup from a name or URL, your network and invitations, private conversations (classic, Sales Navigator, Recruiter inboxes), posts, comments and reactions, job postings and applicants, Recruiter projects.
Pacing and safety. About 100 actions per day per account, profile views and searches included; calls are serialized so an agent can never run LinkedIn requests in parallel.
- Profile URLs are resolved to stable profile IDs before any action.
- Invitations carry an optional note of up to 300 characters.
- Private or restricted profiles return an explicit “not accessible” result instead of a retry loop.
