Find the questions among the congratulations
The agent reads the comments on the post and separates the ones that ask something from the ones that acknowledge. That shortlist is the whole value: six comments to answer properly, instead of a scroll where the real question sits between two emojis.

The exact comment, not a comment
A reply attaches to a comment id, and a reply to a reply is a different object again. The chain is post, then comment, then the exact reply thread, resolved explicitly — which is why an answer lands under the right person instead of at the bottom of the post where nobody sees it was for them.
Answered already is a state you can read
The reason not to trust a counter: you may have answered from your phone this morning. Before drafting, the agent reads the replies under the comment and looks for one of yours. If it finds it, there is nothing to do — which is how you avoid answering the same person twice, publicly.
Draft, then decide
A public reply carries your name under a post people are watching. Having the agent draft and you approve is not timidity, it is the right split: it is good at reading sixty comments and proposing six answers, and you are the one who knows what you can promise.

From a comment to a conversation
The natural next step is private: someone asks a real question in public, you answer publicly and continue in a message. The agent can resolve the commenter to a profile and, if you ask, start that conversation — one action per person, never an automatic sweep over everyone who commented.

Can an AI reply to LinkedIn comments for me?
It can read them, sort out the real questions and draft answers. Publishing a reply is an explicit action, attached to the exact comment, and the replies are read first so the same person is not answered twice.
Will it spam everyone who commented?
No. Actions are per person and explicit, and the state is read before each one: a comment you already answered is left alone.
Can it turn a comment into a private message?
Yes, once the commenter is resolved to a profile. It is a separate action you ask for, one person at a time, not a sweep.
Does it work on someone else’s post?
Reading comments works wherever your account can see them. Replying publishes as you, so it is the same explicit action whoever owns the post.
