How to connect
On the Zapier Apps page add an MCP Client connection: Server URL https://nilyo.com/mcp, Transport Streamable HTTP, OAuth Yes. A browser window opens to authorize, using the same Nilyo sign-in ChatGPT and Claude use — no Zapier-specific account. Every account you connected in Nilyo is then reachable from that one connection.
What becomes available
LinkedIn search, profiles, invitations and messages; WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram conversations; Gmail, Outlook and IMAP mailboxes with folders, threads, drafts and attachments; calendars and events. Each step names the account it runs on, so one Zap can read a personal mailbox and write from a professional one.
Read steps and write steps are not equal
List and read steps are safe on every trigger. A step that sends a message, an invitation or an email is an external action: put it behind a filter or an approval, and turn off automatic retries. A Zap that retries a send on error sends twice, and the recipient sees both.
Resolve before you write
A name is not an identity. Chain a resolution step first — profile from a URL, recipient from a name — keep the returned identifier, then feed it to the write step. When several people match, the resolution returns the candidates instead of picking, which is your cue to add a filter rather than let the Zap guess.
A concrete Zap
A form submission arrives; the Zap resolves the person on LinkedIn, checks whether a conversation already exists, and either sends a message in the existing thread or notifies you on WhatsApp to look at it yourself. One authorization covers the three accounts involved.
“When a form is submitted, resolve the person on LinkedIn and notify me on WhatsApp.”
“When a deal is won, send the confirmation from my own mailbox.”
Common questions
Does Nilyo have a native Zapier app?
It connects through Zapier’s MCP Client, which is the supported route for MCP servers. One connection covers every account, rather than one app per provider.
Which accounts can a Zap reach?
Every account you connected in Nilyo: LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Gmail, Outlook, any IMAP mailbox, Google and Microsoft calendars.
Can a Zap send a LinkedIn invitation?
Yes, after resolving the person to a stable identifier. Put it behind a filter and disable retries — a duplicate invitation cannot be taken back.
What happens when a limit is reached?
The step returns an explicit limit error rather than retrying. LinkedIn carries a daily budget per account, reads included, and WhatsApp caps brand new conversations.
How LinkedIn works with Nilyo
Connection. Secure hosted sign-in (your LinkedIn credentials go to LinkedIn, never to the agent). Sales Navigator and Recruiter are detected automatically when your account has them.
What your agent can do. People and company search, profile lookup from a name or URL, your network and invitations, private conversations (classic, Sales Navigator, Recruiter inboxes), posts, comments and reactions, job postings and applicants, Recruiter projects.
Pacing and safety. About 100 actions per day per account, profile views and searches included; calls are serialized so an agent can never run LinkedIn requests in parallel.
- Profile URLs are resolved to stable profile IDs before any action.
- Invitations carry an optional note of up to 300 characters.
- Private or restricted profiles return an explicit “not accessible” result instead of a retry loop.
