Rules the agent cannot argue with
A system prompt asking an agent to be careful is a suggestion. Here, ambiguous writes are refused by the tool, stale identifiers come back as corrective errors naming what to call again, failed writes are not retried, and the daily budget is enforced where the request is made. None of it depends on the model behaving well.
Wake on events, not on a timer
Realtime destinations deliver a new message or a new email to the agent as it happens, with the identifiers needed to fetch the conversation. Polling every minute would spend the account’s daily budget discovering that nothing changed.
What it can actually do
Search LinkedIn and read profiles, work through the inbox and answer in existing threads, send invitations, read and reply to WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram, triage a mailbox and draft replies, read and create calendar events. All on the accounts you connected, none of it on anyone else’s.

The accounts are connected once and reachable from Hermes, ChatGPT, Claude or a workflow tool. You can let the agent run unattended and still inspect the same conversations yourself, from wherever you happen to be.

How do I add Nilyo to Hermes?
hermes mcp add nilyo --url https://nilyo.com/mcp, then authorize in the browser window that opens. OAuth 2.1 with PKCE is native, so there is no token to generate or store.
Is it safe to let it run unattended?
The protections are server-side: per-account budgets, serialized calls, blocked ambiguous writes, no blind retries. That is what makes unattended use reasonable rather than the model’s good behaviour.
Can it react to new messages?
Yes, through realtime destinations, which is both faster and cheaper than polling the accounts on a timer.
Which accounts does it reach?
Only the ones you connected and authorized, named per action: LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Gmail, Outlook, any IMAP mailbox and your calendars.
How LinkedIn works with Nilyo
Connection. Secure hosted sign-in (your LinkedIn credentials go to LinkedIn, never to the agent). Sales Navigator and Recruiter are detected automatically when your account has them.
What your agent can do. People and company search, profile lookup from a name or URL, your network and invitations, private conversations (classic, Sales Navigator, Recruiter inboxes), posts, comments and reactions, job postings and applicants, Recruiter projects.
Pacing and safety. About 100 actions per day per account, profile views and searches included; calls are serialized so an agent can never run LinkedIn requests in parallel.
- Profile URLs are resolved to stable profile IDs before any action.
- Invitations carry an optional note of up to 300 characters.
- Private or restricted profiles return an explicit “not accessible” result instead of a retry loop.
