How to connect
Add an MCP Client module to a scenario — or, for an AI Agent, add an MCP tool from the agent configuration — create a connection and set the server URL to https://nilyo.com/mcp with OAuth authentication. A browser window opens to authorize, the same Nilyo sign-in ChatGPT and Claude use, with no Make-specific account to create.
What becomes available
Listing the calendars of an account and the events in a window, opening an event with its attendees, creating one, updating it, cancelling or restoring it, and answering an invitation. Each module names the account it runs on, so one scenario can read a personal calendar and write to a professional one.
Read modules and write modules stay distinct
List and read modules are safe on every run. A module that creates or moves an event emails the attendees, so it belongs behind a router or a manual approval, and automatic error retries should be off on it — a retried invitation is a second invitation in everyone’s inbox.
Which calendar, and whose
An account usually holds several calendars, and a scenario that writes to the wrong one goes unnoticed until somebody misses a meeting. Resolve the calendar by id with a list module and reuse it rather than typing the label from the interface — labels get renamed, ids do not. Same for the account when a personal and a professional one are both connected.
A concrete scenario
An hour before each meeting, the scenario lists the events in the window, extracts the external guests, looks each one up on LinkedIn and sends you the briefing on WhatsApp. Every account in that chain is behind the same connection, which is what makes it four modules rather than four integrations.
“An hour before each meeting, look up the guests and send me the briefing.”
“When an invitation arrives, check for a conflict before I answer it.”
Common questions
Why not Make’s own Google Calendar app?
For a single Google account it is fine. Nilyo is worth it when a scenario spans Google and Microsoft calendars, or when the calendar sits beside LinkedIn, WhatsApp or a mailbox on one connection.
Does it cover Outlook calendars?
Yes, with the same modules. The account is selected per module by its identifier.
Can an AI Agent in Make use it?
Yes, add it as an MCP tool from the agent configuration and the agent picks the operation itself.
How Calendar works with Nilyo
Connection. Included with a Google or Microsoft sign-in: one identity gives email and calendar and counts as one account.
What your agent can do. Calendars, events in a date range, creating, updating, cancelling and restoring events, RSVPs.
Pacing and safety. No local budget.
- Combine with LinkedIn and email for meeting briefs: attendees are matched to profiles and past conversations.
