Choose the identity before replying
Ask your agent to list Facebook inboxes and select the personal folder or Page you mean. A Page can reply only in existing conversations. The agent preserves the selected Page on every reply; it cannot delete Page messages.
Profiles, friends and publishing
Read a profile, update your own bio or photo, list friends and friend requests, follow people, publish or share a post, and comment or react. Publishing can use your own identity or an activated Page after you choose it and approve the action.
Reconnect the same account
If a Page loses access while your personal inbox still works, the account can be partially connected. Review the product status with your agent and reconnect the same account to review Page selection. Pages do not consume additional connected-account slots.
Available features and limits
Stories, profile visits, pins and chat labels are unavailable. A vanity profile URL is not a universal search: resolve people from visible friends or contacts. Encrypted history and media depend on recovery and availability at the provider; missing media or partial lists must be reported.
Common questions
Can an agent message anyone as my Page?
No. Page messaging replies to existing conversations only. Personal conversations and Page conversations use separate identities.
Does adding Pages create more billable accounts?
No. Activated Pages are products of the same connected Facebook account.
Can n8n receive new Messenger messages?
Yes, through a direct realtime destination for supported message and account events. The receiver reads the full conversation through the same MCP.
