Install the Nilyo plugin in Grok Build

The public Nilyo marketplace preview connects Grok Build to the same Nilyo accounts. Static package checks pass; real CLI installation, OAuth and account actions remain to be verified.

Review the preview

Use the public nilyo-com/nilyo-grok repository and its 0.1.0 preview release. Review the plugin before trusting it. It contains remote MCP configuration without embedded credentials or shell hooks. This is a developer-managed marketplace, not a Grok.com catalog listing.

Install in your terminal

With Grok Build installed, run the marketplace-add command shown below, then install nilyo with --trust after reviewing the package. Plugin trust activates the integration; it does not replace action approval. Start a fresh session and run grok mcp doctor if the server is missing.

Authorize and check

Follow the Nilyo browser sign-in when Grok requests authentication. Review access and confirm the accounts from your Nilyo workspace. Start with a small read and keep output private. Do not paste a Nilyo token into the model conversation.

“Which accounts are connected to Nilyo?”
“Summarize the latest email from Sarah after resolving the correct message.”

Permissions and stopping access

This plugin exposes the common catalog, including supported writes according to your permissions. Ask for specific actions and review recipients and content. Check the current state before repeating any ambiguous write. Use your runtime permission controls and revoke the agent authorization from Nilyo to stop future calls. Revocation does not undo completed actions or cancel independent workflows.

Common questions

Is the preview tested in Grok Build?

Manifest and marketplace contracts pass locally. Native CLI validation, browser OAuth and real provider operations remain unverified.

Can I use it on Grok.com?

Grok.com uses a custom connector URL, not this marketplace installation. Follow the separate Grok.com guide.
