Check availability first
Custom apps are currently unavailable for work or school Google accounts. Google requires age 18 or over, US location, English and Keep Activity enabled. If the option is missing in France or on your account, do not assume a Nilyo fault or try to bypass eligibility. Gemini CLI has a separate installation path.
Add the server on the web
Go to gemini.google.com. Open Settings, then Connected Apps; on some layouts use Personal Intelligence, then Connected Apps. Under Custom apps choose Add a custom app. Enter https://nilyo.com/mcp, click Next and follow authorization. Setup starts on the web; after connection the app can be used on web and mobile.
Authorize and test
Sign in on Nilyo, review access and connect your communication accounts from your Nilyo dashboard. Nilyo supports dynamic client registration; do not invent client credentials if the flow fails. Use @ to select the custom app and start with account discovery. Keep private account output out of shared recordings.

Permissions and disconnection
Custom app access may include private account data and supported writes. Google documents manual confirmation for write actions; review the actual request rather than treating confirmation as a guarantee. Remove or disconnect the custom app in Gemini Connected Apps and revoke access in Nilyo when finished. Preserve corrective errors and check current state before retrying uncertain actions.

Is this the Gemini API integration?
No. Gemini Apps, Gemini CLI and the Interactions API have separate setup and availability rules. The API requires its own credential and a compatible model.
